One word: YUM! I am a big fan of charcuterie boards and I have made quite a few myself and will say there is nothing like Leslie’s from Sophisticated Charcuterie! The meats and cheeses she uses are top tier and the boards are absolutely gorgeous too.

Friendly, super knowledgeable owner who took her time with us and obviously has a passion for her work! She carries an amazing selection of award-winning cheeses and meats as well as wines and other fine items! I highly recommend using Sophisticated Charcuterie for all your party tray or rental house needs! Talk about making a great impression! This is definitely a crowd pleaser and an all around favorite! The store is conveniently located in Kitty Hawk and they have a great online ordering system as well. We are so pleased we found this gem of an establishment!
This is by far the best charcuterie board we have ever eaten. The board was presented like a piece of artwork. The quality of cheeses and meat is far superior to anyone else. Absolutely the BEST sandwiches! My son and I are addicted to them. Each comes with a bag of Carolina Chips (yum). Bread is always fresh, as is the meat (not processed). She really takes care of her customers! Highly recommend!

A hidden treasure in Kitty Hawk! We enjoyed delicious sandwiches, with wine and beer on the patio. The owner Leslie is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her selection of artisan cheese, meats and beverages. We took some fresh Chèvre home for an evening snack, incredible!
Leslie created a fabulous tray of gourmet goodies that was the starring attraction of a recent gathering I hosted. Her custom boards are a feast for the eye and the palate. Great customer service along with sourcing of food. If you anything about the restaurant world the items she orders are top notch! Prices are wonderful. Beat about every other place I looked. Wonderful thing to have when you first arrive at the beach!
My partner and I just went in to see Leslie for the first time. We have heard from other locals that she is amazing and very knowledgeable about her craft! We went in to talk to her and pick her brain about charcuterie boards and she gave us some samples and changed our mind on some things (the things being blue cheese!) Leslie is super sweet and super unto talk to! She serves QUALITY food and provides only the best for her customers! She was talking to us about her garden that she has at home and how she has fruit trees and how next season she’ll be able to sell her own honey from her honeybees! The board that we choose was PERFECT! Everyone in the family loved it and there was a smile on everyone’s face. I’m super excited to grab another board from her! THANK YOU LESLIE!!

Leslie was excellent to work with – considerate of allergies, communicated with us about our orders, and educated us about her passion.
